How do swatches work? +
Order as many 4x4 swatches as you'd like. They're $5 each and ship for free. The $5 covers shipping and handling costs.
How much yardage do I need? +
We recommend ordering 10% extra for cuts and pattern matching. Most reupholstery jobs land between 6-14 yards.
How is fabric shipped? +
We cut to length and ship via Ground or 2-Day Air at a flat $29.95 per order regardless of yardage. Bolt orders ship freight (contact us for more details). 4x4 swatches ship for free.
What is your return policy? +
Cut yardage is non-returnable because it cannot be resold to other customers once cut — a big reason why we offer fabric swatches! Defective fabric is replaced or refunded with photo verification.
Do you offer trade pricing? +
Yes — designers, decorators, and reupholstery shops get up to 30% off list. One application, approval is fast and easy. Apply on our Trade Program page (see the footer)
Can you reserve dye lots? +
For trade and contract orders we hold inventory in matched dye lots and notify you when stock drops below your reorder threshold. Email contactus@dorellfabrics.com for more assistance or questions!
